Specimen Type: Whole blood

Collection Container: Lavender top (EDTA) tubes

Specimen Volume: Two 5-ml tubes

Specimen Minimum Volume: One 5-ml tube

Collection Instructions:

1. Avoid hemolysis

2. Label tubes with Patient's full name (first and last), ID number (DOB or MRN), Date and Time of Collection, Specimen Source (if applicable) and Collector's initials.
