Collection Container/Tube: Blue top (3.2% sodium citrate)

Specimen Volume: Tube must be filled completely to the stated draw volume.

Specimen Minimum Volume: 2 mL plasma

Collection Instructions:

1. Fill tube completely to stated draw volume (until vacuum is exhausted).

2. If test is performed >4 hours of collection, double spin and send plasma frozen.

Hemolysis

Lipemia

Within 8 hours: Ambient

>4 Hours: Frozen - double spun
