Preferred: Gold (gel separator) or Red (plain)

Acceptable: Plasma, Green top Lithium heparin

Specimen Volume: 2.0 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.2 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Allow serum tubes to clot completely. This may take up to 30 minutes.

2. Remove sample from cells by pipetting.

3. Indicate whether serum or plasma.

Therapeutic concentration: 4.0 -12.0 mcg/mL
Toxic concentration (automatic call back): >15.0 mcg/mL
