Testing must occur within 2 hours of collection ambient, or within 12 hours of collection, refrigerated.

Specimen Type: Whole blood

Collection Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA)

Specimen Volume: Tube must be at least half full

Specimen Minimum Volume: 2 mL

If within 2 hours of collection, ambient

If >2 hours from collection, refrigerated. Maximum time 12 hours from collection.

Male 0-10 mm/hour

Female 0-20 mm/hour
