Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type:  Urine, Random Collection

Collection Container/Tube:  Clean, plastic urine collection container.

Specimen Volume:  10 mL from a random urine collection (5 mL minimum)

Collection Instructions:

1. Collect random urine. Follow instructions in Urine Collections in Special Instructions.

2. No preservative.

3. Mix well before taking a 10 mL aliquot.
