Specimen Type: Unpreserved stool
Collection Conatiner/Tube: Clean, screw-topped plastic container
Specimen Volume: Representative portion of stool
Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL
Collection Instructions:
If necessary, a swab can be used to collect samples from soiled diapers.
Specimen Transport Temperature
If within 72 hours of collection, refrigerated.
If >72 hours from collection, frozen.
